Currency & Tax
Introduction
The Currency & Tax settings allow administrators to define the default currency and applicable tax rates for billing purposes in Stackbill. This configuration ensures that all invoices generated reflect the appropriate currency and tax details, which are essential for accurate billing and reporting.
1. Navigate to the Currency & Tax Configuration :

Log into the Stackbill admin portal.

Go to the Billing section and select Currency & Tax from the menu.
2. Enter Currency Details :

In the "Currency" field, enter the default currency that will be used for all customer billing.
Example: If your business operates in the United States, you may enter USD (U.S. Dollar).

In the "Currency Symbol" field, enter the symbol for the currency. Example: For USD, you would enter $.
3. Define Tax Information :

In the "Tax Name" field, enter the name of the applicable tax for your business or region.

In the "Tax Percentage" field, enter the tax rate that will be applied to invoices. Example: If the applicable tax rate is 15%, enter 15.
4. Save the Configuration :
- After entering all the necessary details, click the Update button to save the configuration.

5. Confirmation of Changes :
- A message will confirm that the Currency & Tax settings have been updated successfully.
