Multi Currency
Introduction
Multi-currency payment processing allows businesses to accept and manage payments from customers across the globe in different currencies. This feature is crucial for businesses that operate internationally, providing their customers with the flexibility to pay in their local currency. By implementing multi-currency support, businesses can improve the user experience, reduce friction in the payment process, and expand their global reach.
Note: Make sure the multi currency option has been activated in the Feature Configuration section if you are having trouble finding it under the billing manager area.
Multi currency Creation
1. Navigate to Multi-Currency Section :
-
Log into the Stackbill admin portal.
-
Navigate to Billing in the menu, and select Multi-Currency from the options.
2. Add a New Currency :
-
Click on the Add Currency button to start adding a new currency.
-
Enter the Currency Code for the new currency you wish to add. Example: Enter USD for U.S. Dollar, EUR for Euro, or GBP for British Pound.
-
Enter the Currency Symbol that corresponds to the currency code. Example: $ for U.S. Dollar, € for Euro, or £ for British Pound.
3. Set the Exchange Rate :
-
Enter the Exchange Rate relative to the default currency of your business.
-
The exchange rate is critical for ensuring that the system converts payments from the new currency into your default currency correctly. It should reflect the most current rates.
Example: If the default currency is USD and you're adding EUR, the exchange rate might be 1.12 (indicating 1 EUR = 1.12 USD).
4. Save the Currency :
- Once you've entered the necessary details, click the Add button to save the new currency.

- A confirmation message will appear, notifying you that the new currency has been added successfully.

5. User Panel Display:
-
Here is an example scenario, where the customer in India is charged ₹ 8.3210 per IP per hour for acquiring a new public IP, while the default cost in USD remains $0.1 per IP per hour.
-
The output is seen in the image below.
