Instance Creation & Deletion
The Instance Creation & Deletion feature in the admin portal is designed to send email alerts to the product owner whenever a virtual resource (instance) is created or deleted. These notifications are vital for monitoring resource utilization and preventing potential capacity issues. By configuring these notifications, admins can ensure seamless communication and stay informed about critical resource changes.
1. Navigation to Instance Creation & Deletion:

Login into the admin portal.

Navigate to the Config section by clicking on the Config icon in the portal menu.

Click on the Notification tab and then click on the Instance Creation & Deletion link.
2. Configure the Notification :

Set the Default Language: Choose the language in which the notification emails will be sent. This ensures clarity and consistency in communication.

Upload the Email Template: Upload a pre-designed email template for notifications related to instance creation and instance deletion.

Subject for Instance Creation: Specify the subject line for the email notification sent when a virtual resource is created.
Example : "New Virtual Resource Successfully Created"

Subject for Instance Deletion: Specify the subject line for the email notification sent when a virtual resource is deleted.
Example: "Virtual Resource Deleted Successfully"

Set Recipients: Enter the primary email address where the notifications will be sent in the To Email Address and Add additional recipients to receive a copy of the email notification. If multiple recipients are required, separate the email addresses with a comma (
,
) in the CC Email Address. -
Enable Notifications: Toggle the Show Notification option to enable email alerts for instance creation and deletion.


3. Save the changes :

Click the Update button to save the notification settings.

A confirmation message will appear, such as "Admin notification for instance Creation & Deletion email template successfully uploaded."

4. Effect in User Portal :
- When an instance is created to be destroyed, the user will receive the email, as illustrated below.
